and fulfillment services for EMC, HP, IBM and Sun customers.
San Diego, CA – June 10, 2008 – ParAccel, Inc., provider of the ParAccel Analytic Database, a high-speed, low-effort, columnar database management system, today announced a value-added-reseller (VAR) agreement with Continental Resources, Inc. (CRI), one of the nation’s most established and respected technology solution providers. Under the terms of the partnership, CRI will provide configuration, testing, integration and fulfillment services to ParAccel Analytic Database customers so they can receive high performance analytic appliances that are ready to Load and Go™ and include the trust, convenience and investment protection of their standard operating hardware.

Whether it's Sun SPARC, Intel, or AMD architectures running on Solaris, Linux, or Windows operating systems, CRI strives to help drive down support costs; reduce overhead, integration, and testing costs; and provide customers with standardized solutions for long-term stability.
"Continental Resources enjoys strong relationships with leading technology companies, which gives us the flexibility to satisfy the full-range of customer needs—from a single piece of hardware to a comprehensive technology infrastructure,” said company President James M. McCann, Jr. “The ParAccel Analytic Database fills a growing need for affordable, high performance analytic platform solutions and we are pleased to be partnering with ParAccel to deliver turnkey analytic appliances that bring impressive analytic results.”
“Our software is designed to be appliance-like with a simple maintenance and installation, but many customers want the added convenience of a pre-installed appliance that arrives ready to just add data and run queries,” said Tim Milovich, ParAccel vice president of business development. “Many IT organizations rely on Continental Resources as a trusted partner in delivering state-of-the-art solutions and we look forward to working with them to provide our customers with the simplest implementation experience possible.”
