Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect should be heavily Microsoft focused, and always be willing to learn new technologies. You must be flexible to meet the various rolls of this position. Your main focus will be working with our sales force as a pre-sales engineer. You must be an expert in your field. For our larger engagements you will also function as a technical project manager for onsite implementation services. We need a dynamic and energetic individual for this demanding position. Routine tasks will involve: having face to face meetings with customers, performing analysis of customer’s environments, writing proposals and scopes of work, performing on-site work for our clients and documenting all work performed. You must be able to work in a team, and also be self sufficient. Some travel may be required. If you have the right combination of experience, track record and drive, this will be the position you've been looking for. This is a full time, salary position.

Candidates (without exception) must meet the following criteria:
• 5+ years relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Prior experience as a consultant
• Expert on Microsoft Exchange
• Expert on Active Directory
• Expert on Microsoft Networking

Strong knowledge of following is also required:
• DNS
• Intel based server hardware
Addition pluses would include experience in one or more of the following:
• PMI or ITIL certifications
• Other Industry certifications
• Symantec Enterprise Products (Enterprise Vault, NetBackup, BackupExec, Anti-Virus)
• Microsoft SQL server
• SharePoint Server
• VMware
• Scripting (logon scripts, application deployment scripts, etc.)
• Terminal Services
• IIS
• Citrix
• Cisco
